Litti was eaten by Peasants and Farmers of Bihar before becoming famous across the Country . It was first Cooked during the Magadh Kingdom becoming popular in Bihar . Litti rose to prominence during the time of Tantia Tope and Rani Lakshmi Bai and becoming an important meal during war because it needed less water and could be baked without using any utensils .
Litti Choka is a healthy Combination because it does not use too much of Cooking Oil and cooking medium used is natural. Littis has amazing cooling properties and a brilliant source of Dietary Oxidants . ,Fibers Vitamins, Manganese , Folate and chlorgenic acid that act as Anti-oxidant

What is Bhola’s Litti Chokha?
Litti is dough stuffed with sattu and the secret recipes of Bhola roasted over wood coal until cooked and dipped into pure desi Ghee whereas the chokha and chatni is a blend of Potatoes and Tomatoes and lot of species mixed with mustard oil to get that Pungent flavor.

Hariwansh Kewat popularly known as Sadhu Ji Started selling Littis in a corner of Tulsi Chowk in 1956 and following the Footsteps of his Father Bhola kewat Joined the Buisness in 1978 though in initial years Bhola was supervised and trained under the experienced .
